Write to live, live to write.

AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY Wednesday, January 7, 2009

I hate operations. Especially if they're on my toes.
My dad forced me to go for LA instead. Which means a couple of jabs (in my case, a few) in both of the toes. And the toe part has lots of nerves so it's even more bloody painful.
The right toe was alright, after the jabs I couldn't feel anything. But the left toe...I think they didn't jab it properly the first time because I could still feel it when he started to dig into the toe. And that hurt like hell too. So I told 'em and they jabbed me again. Which was even more painful.
They were playing oldies (instrumental) when I first went in. Things you haven't heard of. Things like "tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree" or "let it be". Nice music. But then I think they thought I didn't like the music, seeing as they were oldies and youngsters these days hate oldies. So they changed the CD. And I didn't like it one bit.
Now I've got monster toes and they aren't pretty. For my right toe, there's lots of blood on the bandages. Makes me look like I got shot in the foot. Other than that, it's alright.
I didn't have the operation until about 3, two hours after it was supposed to be conducted. It was 4 when they finished. And because they thought I might want GA, I had to fast from 7. That's 9 hours without food. Thankfully I had a double cheeseburger, four nuggets and one packet of twister fries after that. Delicious. And the best thing about this op? I don't have to go to school for the rest of the week. Including today and yesterday.
My left toe's starting to hurt. Where are those painkillers?

1940: Britain introduces food rationing! Coincidence or what?

~Quote of the Day~
We have a new experience. We have victory - a remarkable and definite victory.
-Winston Churchill. Wow, victory must've been very hard to come by, then.
