Write to live, live to write.

AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY Monday, November 3, 2008

I don't get what's with all this brain stuff. I already said, Einstein's is still around, you can go get hold of his, just as long as it's not mine.

I forgot to mention that I had my toenails cut. By a podiatrist. Which is a foot doctor. And now I'm supposed to put antibacterial gauze into the cuts, between the nail and the flesh, to prevent it from swelling up again. It may be working or it may not be working. There's still pus coming out, but I think that's just from the cut.

My birthday's coming in two months...problem is I already got my present so there's nothing to look forward to. I did get what I wanted, but I came across this other great book so I want that too. Ah well, I don't think I got my Christmas present yet.

Saw Pheodora and Rosalinda at Junction 8 yesterday, when we were there to borrow books. (Got quite a good haul this round, Letters from Iwo Jima, Midway, a historical fiction novel, and a book on the battle of Tralfagar.) Not much of a coincidence once you think about it really, seeing as everyone goes there anyway.

Today I had to write a chinese composition about "an unforgettable exam" (Sorry, I don't want this blog to have even one word of chinese on it) and it sucked. Big time. I don't even know what I was writing.

At least I had fun doing Maths yesterday. Finished two maths papers before Jason finished his maths paper and got to slack for the rest of the day.

~Today in History~
1942: Second Battle of El Alamein - Disobeying a direct order by Adolf Hitler Field Marshal Erwin Rommel leads his forces on a five-month retreat. (I have to say Hitler was pretty stupid to expect Rommel to continue holding out of El Alamein when he - as in Hitler - refused to give Rommel any food, ammunition, or tanks. But of course, Hitler was already pretty stupid anyway.)

~Quote of the Day~
He who lights the torch in Europe can hope for nothing but chaos.

-Adolf Hitler. But remember, Adolf, you were the one that ended up lighting the torch in Europe, weren't you? Just another example of how stupid Hitler really is.
